Crest 3D Whitening Strips
It's been about two weeks since I have had my braces taken off, wahay! I've always been keen on the whole idea of whitening my teeth, but after having gone private to get braces, I really couldn't afford getting them done professionally. Since having braces I had been on the look out for a cheeper option that would work just as good at home. I came across Crest Whitening Strips after having heard good things from my cousins. I looked around on the internet, I couldn't find one single bad review, it was then decided that as soon as I get my braces off I will give them a try.
The strips aren't available here in the UK, so I ordered through an eBay seller. If you are thinking of buying through eBay, just make sure they aren't dodgy. I ordered altogether 3 pouches with six strips, each pouch contained one upper and one lower strip. They also come with a little instruction booklet.
They are basically thin pieces of sticky plastic (kind of like Sellotape) covered in Hydrogen Peroxide. You apply them to your teeth for the required time, depending on the version you go for! I left mine on for roughly two hours.
I had no trouble applying them, they are really easy to apply, are not particularly uncomfortable to wear. I did however feel a really sharp sting (I can't describe it properly) once or twice, this is all depending on how sensitive your teeth are. Other than that they are completely 'enamel safe'
The end result was so much better than expected, I could definitely see the deference. I would most definitely use these again! I wouldn't recommend these at all if you have sensitive teeth, However, I can confirm they actually do work and you can definitely see results. I also use Crest 3D 'Glamourous White' toothpaste, which also helps a lot.
Have you tried the Crest 3D Whitening Strips?
